Wexford Schoolboys Under Ten

Shamrock Rovers v Tombrack United

Our Under Ten Schoolboys while not playing competitively are putting in some excellent performances this season and continued that good form in Shamrock Rovers this morning. The whole squad put in a top class display of good passing football with Eoin Tomkins, Jack Sheridan and Padraig Kenny all being very impressive on the day

Wexford Schoolboys Under Fourteen

Tombrack United  0  Gorey Celtic  3

This was always going to be a tough game for our Under Fourteens as they came up against league leaders Gorey Celtic and despite putting in a decent performance, they still

went down 3-0. Celtic led 2-0 at half time but did well to hold on to that lead as Tombrack attacked strongly in the second half and were unlucky not to get back on level terms and the visitors scored a late goal to secure victory

Wexford Schoolboys Under Sixteen

Tombrack United  3  Shamrock Rovers  1

The Under Sixteen lads moved into contention in this division when they put in one of their best performances so far this season to overcome joint leaders Shamrock Rovers 3-1. An excellent start saw Tombrack lead 2-0 thanks to goals from Joaquim Carbonell and Josh McMullan and although Rovers pulled one back, the lads worked hard to keep in control of the game and wrapped up the three points when Barry O Toole scored

Wexford Schoolgirls Under Sixteen

Tombrack United  0  Bunclody AFC  1

Very little separated these two sides in a very closely contested game where defences and goalkeepers dominated and chances were kept to a minimum. Tombrack played the better football in the first half and were unlucky not to go in front with Amy Tobin Cosgrave and Nadine Fortune both bringing good saves from the Bunclody keeper. The second half saw the visitors come more and more into the game and Leanne Kenny in the Tombrack goal was called on a few times to keep the sides level. With seven minutes to go, Bunclody's Faye Larkin found space on the edge of the area and sent a low shot just inside the post to give her side the lead. Tombrack went in search of an equaliser but could not find a way past the visitors defence and Bunclody held on for a valuable three points
